Some people have been asking me lately how the cruise contol works on the CK series tractors. So, here's a quick how to:
1. Hold the hydrostat pedal to the desired speed and lift the yellow cruise control handle. It should lock the hydrostat pedal in the current position.
2. To release the cruise control, push the brake pedal firmly with your foot and the cruise should release.
3. If it does not release then reach down and push the yellow control handle down.

Tire Types
How do you know which type of tires to use on your tractor? It all depends on how you are going to use your tractor. If it is strictly farming then Ag tires would be best suited, they give you the most traction. Construction people normally like to use industrial tires because they are wider, have shorter lugs, and are not as aggressive as the Ag tires. Turf tires then have little and almost no traction (they will slip or spin-out). If your tractor is primarily used to run a finishing mower or working on well kept grass surfaces, then the Turf tires are what you need. Today the Industrial tires have become the multi-purpose tire because they provide traction and the tread is less aggressive.

Pricing Tractors & Equipment Online
Today potential customers have a new tool. In fact, if you're reading this you're using it right now - the Internet. The Internet provides a great way for customers to research what they are buying and try to find out if they are getting a good price. Probably almost everyone, including myself, has done it before. One thing that can be frustrating, however, is not being able to find prices online. In my business and many others, the companies that provide our equipment have rules that prohibit us from putting anything but list price on our web sites. At County Tractor we will happily reply to any price requests through email and over the phone. However, because of the distance a customer is away from us, the quote we give may not be competitive with that of a more local dealer due to freight costs. If you already have a price quote, give us a call or e-mail us and we will let you know if we can match or beat your quote!
